Proxy paper

The EuroQol Group has two proxy scripts for adults:

Proxy version 1: Asking the proxy to rate how he/she (the proxy would rate the patient's HRQoL (proxy 1). Proxy 1 is available in English for the UK.

Proxy version 2: Asking the proxy to rate how he/she (the proxy) thinks the patient would rate his/her own HRQoL if he/she (the patient) was able to communicate it (proxy 2). Proxy 2 is available in the following languages:

Interactive Voice Response (IVR)

Health-related quality of life patient reported outcomes data can be collected via the telephone in an IVR format. Patients can use IVR versions by dialing a toll-free number where they access EQ-5D delivered in their own language. More than 30 IVR versions are available through a preferred vendor - Perceptive Informatics. For more information go to www.perceptive.com.

The EQ-5D-3L web version is currently available in English for the UK. More than 20 other translations are in progress.
