The aim of the EuroQol Population Health Task Force is to promote the use of EQ-5D in population studies by encouraging awareness and informed use of the EQ-5D in population health applications.

Current initiatives:

• Development of guidelines for inclusion of the EQ-5D in population health surveys
• Gathering population health surveys that used EQ-5D at international level
• Gathering individual respondents’ data of population studies (micro data)
• Furthering the use of EQ-5D in the collection of patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) (e.g. the PROMS program in England)
• Analyzing the value of the EQ-5D-5L as a population health measure
