More about Stephen Joel Coons

Stephen Joel Coons is director of the Critical Path Institute’s (C-Path’s) Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) Consortium.  C-Path formed the PRO Consortium in conjunction with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the pharmaceutical industry to develop, evaluate, and qualify PRO instruments for use in clinical trials as effectiveness endpoints. Stephen has been a member of the EuroQoL Group since 1997 and was the principal investigator on the US Valuation of the EQ-5D Health States project funded by the US Agency for Health Care Research and Quality.
