Membership is open to anyone who is willing to contribute actively to the further development of EQ-5D and to investigators with direct experience of its use.

In the first instance, those wishing to join the Group should submit an abstract about their research using EQ-5D for presentation at the EuroQol Group's plenary meeting. These meetings are held usually in September or October in different international venues.

The call for papers for these meetings is distributed in March. The researcher(s) concerned will be invited to participate in the meeting and present their research provided their abstract has been accepted by the scientific organizers of the meeting.
